Driving to and from the BMI Park Hospital

There is no problem with driving to the hospital but you will not be insured to drive home the following day (or on the same day if you were to attend a Sunday list) as it will be within 24 hours since your general anaesthetic. If this is a problem, please do contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Travelling To The Vasectomy Reversal Centre By Train

Alternatively, Newark station is around 30-40 minutes drive from the BMI Park Hospital and there is a taxi rank there so it should be a generally straightforward journey to get to us.

Having to Fly

We have many people flying to us either from Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Saudi Arabia or further afield. We are approximately 45 minutes from East Midlands Airport and around 2 and a half hours (with no traffic) from Heathrow. Stansted and Manchester airport are about 2.5 hours hours away and Birmingham airport is around an hour and a half journey time. We have many people flying in on the day of surgery and many fly home the following day having been fitted with TED stockings by the ward staff. These are anti-embolism stockings and important to wear on the way home to prevent the formation of blood clots.
